Senior Warehouse Person

Location: North of Adelaide CBD

Hours: Full-time, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Occasional overtime during the week and on Saturdays will be required.

Are you an experienced and highly capable warehouse professional looking for a senior role with leadership responsibilities? We are seeking a dedicated Senior Warehouse Person to join our team north of the Adelaide CBD. This role is essential to our daily operations, combining hands-on logistics work with supervisory duties in the absence of the Warehouse Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently pick and pack customer orders, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Assist walk-in customers with their queries and orders in a professional manner.
• Build and prepare pallets for dispatch, adhering to all safety and shipping standards.
• Manage receivable stock, ensuring all incoming inventory is checked, processed, and put away in a timely and efficient manner.
• Act as the primary point of contact and lead for other warehouse team members when the Warehouse Manager is absent, ensuring smooth operations and task delegation.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.

What You Will Bring:

• Proven experience in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics environment, preferably in a senior or leading hand capacity.
• Essential: Current and valid Forklift Licence.
• Favourable: Current and valid MR (Medium Rigid) Drivers Licence.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to assist customers and guide team members.
• A proactive attitude and commitment to efficiency and safety.
• Reliability and flexibility to work occasional overtime as required.
